Problems on Set
In today's lesson we re-started our story boards as I changed the script. They will be uploaded within the next two days.
We also began shooting today! This proved to be extremely stressful and I wouldn't be surprised if I woke up tomorrow with a full head of grey hair. Directing a group of boys ... and Amy was a challenge hahaha. The first issue I was faced with while checking my messages in tutor was a message to say that one of our actors couldn't make the shooting time. Thankfully Charlie was at hand to fill in as 'Robin Thin' so that issue was resolved quickly. The next issue was that the room we initially wanted was in use at the time we wished to shoot we then compromised to use Fibonacci which in the end turned out quite well. The original plan was to film during third lesson, have a short break for lunch then to resume shooting over the duration of lunch but Fibonacci was in use over lunch so we will need to go back another day this week most likely over a lunch to complete filming. A few actors did not bring their costumes so this was also an issue they were asked to and reminded but did not. As we only had an hour to get set up, changed into custumes and to film we were very pushed for time. I am bossy and the best of times and the actors were just messing around playing guitar, talking and mainly wasteing valuable shooting time and I lost patients and shouted 'SHUT UP!' far too many times. Working with a larger cast who don't pay attention with a short amount of time was very difficult.
