Detailed Outline of the Opening Titles and Sequence

The opening shot of my film will be an establishing shot of a hospital, it will then fade to a black screen and text will fade in and will appear in white simplistic font. The text will read "Since January 3rd 2013 no babies have been born alive. This global epidemic has began to control and alter the lives of all."  The sequence will cut to a midwife sat in her car in the dark with her headlights of with a blank, worried face. I plan to play the audio of white noise and the sound of crying. A title will appear on screen with the location which will fade in slowly followed by the date then followed again by the time. The camera will the cut dramatically to black and the title 'catch' (all in lowercase letters) will appear large in the centre of the screen in white and the titles would slowly fade out again before the black screen cuts out. 

The next scene will show children in a field near a run down housing estate. The children would be of different ages from 14 down to four. Young boys will be playing football and running around looking happily in the fore ground will be three sisters. The youngest will be skipping, whist the eldest braids the hair of the other sister. Out of focus in the far background a black car will appear and drive towards the children. They will stop far away enough for the children to not hear the sound of the car doors. They get out and head toward the children and grab the youngest of the boys playing football. One screams and alerts the others and they begin to run toward the boarded up houses. They are chased by the men and women who are dressed smartly in suits.

Rather than beautiful shots of woodland scenery like in Breaking Dawn Part 2 I plan to capture shots of boarded up houses, blocks of flats, run down children's parks, graffiti. Over these scenes there will be titles that will change from white into black.

The children will continue to run through the estate. Down alley's, through gardens, down streets. I plan to use a point of view shots but only from the point of view of the people in the suits. I haven't yet figured out how I will achieve this shot yet but I would like to some how get a shot of the entire estate from an ariel type shot looking down. 

Eventually, the people in suits will catch the three girls from the beginning of the sequence. The last shot will be an extreme close up on one of the girls eyes blinking open and crying.

There will be not talking in my video. As we cannot use copyrighted music I was thinking of talking to Mr. Lamb to see if I could record the sound of the orchestra. Something with a lot of tension.
